Cross Country: Minnewaska girls fourth in South Dakota race

The first-year Minnewaska cross country teams were at the Pine Hills Golf Course in Milbank, S.D. for the Milbank-Hardee's Invitational on Saturday as the girls came back with a fourth-place finish out of seven teams.

The Lakers had 63 total points. Lac qui Parle Valley-Dawson-Boyd won the meet with 13 as four of their runners finished in the top 10.

Sydney Hagen led the Minnewaska runners as she came in 10th place with a time of 24:47.8. Karra Hanson was 20th (22:40.33) and Kristen Glover finished 22nd (22:55.54). Elsey Hagen (37th, 24:25.12), Molly Hjelm (41st, 25:32.84) and Julia Kuehne (43rd, 25:42.79) rounded out the girls lineup for Minnewaska.

The Minnewaska boys ran just one athlete in the varsity race as Aiden Tank finished 34th in a time of 20:05.84.
