Monday, Sept. 10

Fire, caller awoke to a haze in the residence, smoke alarms went off, fire department checked residence, everything was fine.

Property damage crash, vehicle versus turkey, minor crash report, County Road 5 NE, Spruce Hill Park Road NE, Carlos.

Criminal damage to property, man in lobby reporting intersection sign is down, appears a vehicle hit the sign, landed in man’s yard, causing damage, Sunny Brook Drive NW.

Suspicious activity, vehicle with no plates on bridge over river, Carlos.

Suspicious activity, person stopped in lobby to report suspicious activity.

Traffic hazard, caller reported huge mud chunks in the road, highway department notified, enroute to clean it up, Farwell.

Theft, person stopped in lobby to report theft of cell phone.

Burglary, caller believes someone drove into his house with vehicle, appears ATV crashed into garage causing extensive damage, entry made into house by suspects, Cattail Drive NE, Parkers Prairie.

Suspicious activity, person seen leaving home, believes person is squatting at this address.

Conservation, caller is part of lakes association, being told and seeing on social media that a loon, with a rapala and line stuck to it, is still on dock, DNR said it was too dangerous for caller to try and catch the loon, caller was wondering if water patrol or deputy could take care of loon.

Fraud, caller reported someone is using his social security number, opening accounts.

Public assist, caller would like to have bail revoked that he posted because person he posted bail for is not following rules.

Public assist, caller reported two vehicles parked by dumpsters, several people drinking, some may be underage.

Animal complaint, caller reported dog barking, on-going issue, Miltona.


Monday, Sept. 10

Suspicious activity, employees saw a vehicle with bright lights on parked in area, would pull away, stop, repeat.

Suspicious activity, caller reported someone knocking on bedroom door inside house.

Animal complaint, caller’s daughter’s dog got hit by a car and ran off.

Animal complaint, report of three dogs continually barking.

Motorist assist, vehicle broke down.

Property damage crash, two vehicles, state report, minor injury, Highway 29 S.

Public assist, comp is blind and just about got hit while in the crosswalk, would like to speak to officer, comp stated his cane was hit by a vehicle as he was trying to cross the road, McKay Avenue S.

Property damage crash, two vehicles, no injuries, 17th Avenue E, Broadway Street.

Drug related activity, anonymous complaint of marijuana smell in the hallway of apartment building.

Criminal damage to vehicle, called stated customer’s vehicle had the gas line cut while parked at the business.

Theft, caller from YMCA reported bocce equipment was stolen.

Property damage crash, two vehicles, no injuries, minor crash report, 34th Avenue E., Broadway Street S.

Theft, caller reported camper was broken into, only thing missing was jack wrench, Timber Lane NE.

Drug related activity, caller reporting person in apartment below is smoking marijuana again.
