Update: Patrol releases name of driver killed in crash near Parkers Prairie
The person killed in a two-vehicle crash north of Parkers Prairie Wednesday has been identified as Kenneth Arthur Dunker, 71, of Henning.
He was the driver of a 2001 Ford four-door pickup and wasn't wearing a seat belt, according to the State Patrol.
The other driver was Marissa Dawn Roden, 22, of Henning. She was driving a 2014 Ford crew pickup south on Highway 29 near mile marker 109 in Elmo Township when she lost control on the icy road, drifted into the northbound lane and struck the 2001 Ford head on, according to the State Patrol.
A passenger in the 2001 Ford, Beverly Ann Dunker, 74, also from Henning, was airlifted to the Sanford Medical Clinic with life-threatening injuries. She was wearing a seat belt, according to the crash report.
Roden, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated and released with minor injuries.
The crash happened at about 8 a.m.
