Senator Ingebrigtsen hears concerns
State Senator Bill Ingebrigtsen (R-Alexandria) held in-district town hall meetings on Friday, April 12 to meet with constituents.
Ingebrigtsen represents parts of Otter Tail and Douglas counties. The meetings were held with Representative Bud Nornes.
Ingebrigtsen heard many concerns constituents had, ranging from the Mayo Clinic expansion to the Bonding Bill. Primarily, the people were concerned about the $150 million cut to the Health and Human Services budget.
"It was great to hear from constituents," Ingebrigtsen said. "Hard-working taxpayers have a lot of concerns about where we are now as a state. They are worried about rising costs being coupled with higher taxes on things they need."
