Wheat growers to vote on check-off increase in January
ST. PAUL, Minn. - Member farmers of the Minnesota Wheat Research and Promotion Council will vote in January on a proposed increase to their check-off promotion. The current proposal is to change the check-off amount from one to two cents per bushel. The one-cent per bushel check-off rate has been in place since the wheat check-off was established 30 years ago.
