Jefferson High School presents Noises Off

Connor Chancellor (left) plays the part of an irritable director and Matt Galbraith (right) plays a sad-sack actor who can't rasp the directions.

The Jefferson High School fall play is Noises Off.

Performances are scheduled for Friday, November 6 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, November 7 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, November 8 at 2 p.m., all at the Discovery Middle School auditorium in Alexandria.

The three-act play by Michael Frayn is a satirical look at theater-life in front of, and behind, the scenes.

The actors try their best to act and fail miserably as their emotions and stupidity get in the way of their success.

The play is directed by Matt Amundson. He is assisted by student director Jake Stone. Ron Branch is in charge of set design.
