Someone was seen dumping a 55-gallon barrel of liquid near the Colonial Court Apartments on Seventh Avenue East. The suspect was dumping water from his carpet cleaning business. He was advised to no longer dump water on the property.

An officer pulled over a suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of Kenwood Street and issued citations for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

During a traffic stop near County Roads 8 and 40, the driver was cited for having a revoked license and no proof of insurance. A small amount of drug paraphernalia was also confiscated.

A resident on Spearfish Lane SW, Alexandria reported that she heard voices coming from the main floor of her house at about 11:30 p.m. on the previous evening. When she came down to check, she saw her dog chasing a tan vehicle down the road. She was advised to call right away, instead of the following afternoon, if she notices anything suspicious in the future.

A chocolate lab/retriever came after a man out running twice on County Road 64 NE, Miltona. The dog’s owner was served notice of having a potentially dangerous dog.

After a minor traffic accident happened at the intersection of County Road 8 and Arne Lee Road near Kensington, a driver was arrested for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated.

While opening up his cabin for the season, the owner noticed items had been stolen. The cabin is located on Twin Point Circle SW, Alexandria.

A large field fire was reported northeast of Carlos at 8:47 p.m. It turned out to be a controlled burn.
