Motorist assist, vehicle is off the roadway, no one is around, will check on it later.

Criminal damage to property, caller reported his vehicle was damaged while parked on minimum maintenance road.

Fraud, caller reported eBay and PayPal accounts were hacked.

Public assist, person has question about a short gun, advised of federal and state firearm laws.

Suspicious activity, report of someone knocking on back window, then running away, has been happening for the last hour, deputy walked the yard, found a garbage can lid hitting the window, no other foot tracks found.

Wednesday, Oct. 10

Vehicle in ditch, third party call of vehicle in the ditch, no injuries, County Road 3 SE.

Vehicle in ditch, not a hazard, will check on later, County Road 19 NW, County Road 82 NW

Suspicious activity, caller reported there was an alarm last night, today found a gas tank and butane torch, County Road 82 SE.

Driving complaint, vehicle all over the road.

Personal injury crash, East Burgen Road SE, Maple Drive SE.

Theft, caller reported theft of an Eskimo ice auger from a fish house, Big Horn Bay Road NW.


Tuesday, Oct. 9

Driving complaint, vehicle driving with no lights on.

Information, meat delivery service with two men came to residence, checked with City Hall, do not have peddlers license.

Burglary, caller reported someone broke into apartment, stole $150 out of purse and other items.

Drug related activity, caller reported smell of marijuana, wanted it checked out.

Animal complaint, caller is in vehicle, afraid to get out, bulldog on property.

Driving complaint, vehicle with no tail lights.

Animal complaint, report of dog in vehicle for four hours, barking constantly, checked on, windows partially down, dog does not appear in distress.

Noise complaint, caller reported tenants downstairs are extremely loud, screaming and banging.

Wednesday, Oct. 10

Utility company call, report of power pole down, Oak Street N.

Fraud, student reporting getting calls of attempted fraud.

Parking complaint, report of two vehicles that have been parked in same spot for several months.

Driving complaint, report of person with strong smell of alcohol and glassy eyes at courthouse while paying bail, arrested for third-degree DWI.

Property damage crash, no injuries, Lakeview Avenue N., North Nokomis Street.

Property damage crash, minor crash, no injuries, 3rd Avenue E., Nokomis Street.

Property damage crash, no injuries, citation to one of the drivers for failure to yield, 50th Avenue SE, Pioneer Road SE.

Property damage crash, minor crash, Broadway Street.

Utility company call, tree laying across the road, Darling Drive.

Parking complaint, trailer will be moved to garage.

Shoplifting, report of two males who look like they are trying to steal something, both arrested on warrants, both cited for theft.

Suspicious activity, report of people going door-to-door selling stuff, caller feel unsafe, people located, they were doing food drive for church.

Loud party complaint, caller report loud party, keeping neighbors awake, officer stood by house, it was dark and no noises were coming from it.
