Wednesday, August 29

Crash with animal, caller hit a deer, needs report, driver not injured, deer permit issued, Miltona.

Animal complaint, cows on the road, County Road 6 NW.

Suspicious vehicle, caller reported vehicle at end of her driveway with two or three people in it, came to her door, she didn’t open it.

Criminal damage to property, vehicle drove by caller’s house, hit his mailbox.

Parking complaint, vehicle parked in field approach, caller doesn’t know who it belongs to, nobody around it.

Suspicious person, man walking around town carrying backpack and umbrella, stopped at church asking for food and coffee, person was located on trail between Garfield and Brandon, refused a ride or bus ticket.

Assist other agency, vehicle reportedly stolen out of Mankato, suspect may be in Alexandria.

Water complaint, man in green pontoon stranded in middle of lake, person was towed in by other boat, Lake Osakis.

Suspicious vehicle, vehicle with two men in it at lake access, one of the men walking on road, caller thinks they are intoxicated, parties checked on, vehicle broken down, daughter coming to help.

Crash with animal, comp hit a deer, wants to keep deer, permit issued, Miltona.

Criminal damage to property, caller reported that someone used a paintball gun over the rocks, trash cans and everything else in the area, parking lot of Long Prairie River, County Road 38 NE, Carlos.

Fire-grass, pile of hay on fire on Hope Road, Osakis.

Thursday, August 30

Assist other agency, drunk pounding on door, Osakis.

Drunk, report of intoxicated female walking on Primrose Road NE, female given ride road, Miltona.

Motorist assist, driver was changing a flat tire, deputy provided lights, Garfield.

Personal injury crash, two vehicles, five injured, County Road 82, Osakis.

Suspicious vehicle, caller reported vehicle was parked half on the road, half on his property for the past couple of days, vehicle towed due to being abandoned and traffic hazard.

Motorist assist/stall, vehicle overheated and stalled, deputy brought driver to get some water.

Animal complaint, report of dog running wild, getting into garbage, Miltona.

Fire-vehicle, two-vehicle crash, vehicle on fire, Interstate 94, Highway 114 SW.

Suspicious activity, reported two young males driving around shooting signs with paintball gun, Miltona.

Parking complaint, caller reported his neighbors keep parking in the grass on the side of the road where people are driving the curve, stated it’s a hazard.

Assist other agency, vehicle fire, westbound lane, Interstate 94, Osakis.

Suspicious activity, caller reported several food items were thrown in the ditch, appears someone dumped old contents of fridge, Villard.

Suspicious activity, door to building open, light is on, Brandon.

Suspicious activity, received info about several juveniles walking on trail.

Noise complaint, caller reported some kind of alarm or buzzing sound going on in an apartment.

Parking complaint, vehicle parked in location and not moved for about three weeks.

Property damage crash, no injuries, vehicles blocking traffic, 22nd Avenue, Emerson Street.

Parking complaint, vehicle parked on wrong side of road.

Animal complaint, two cats in an abandoned house.

Shoplifting, store has one adult female in custody.

Animal complaint, dog has been barking for awhile.

Property damage crash, caller said someone hit her car, admitted it, but didn’t come back to scene.

Public assist, caller reported swimming pool was vandalized three years ago.

Burning complaint, caller reported neighbor dug large hole in empty lot, burning large trees in it, has been going on for almost a week.

Suspicious vehicle, anonymous caller reported that a van parked on street, two men walked up to the apartments, he doesn’t know what they are doing.

Thursday, August 30

Drunk, report of an extremely drunk man, slamming into things.

Suspicious vehicle, was checked on, male was just getting out of the house.

Suspicious vehicle, caller reported van sitting on west side of building with male party sitting inside it for about 15 minutes.

Theft, comp reported phone stolen, called back, phone was found.

Suspicious vehicle, employees of business said vehicle occupied by a man was parking in the lot, man has beard, was staring at customers, reportedly giving them the hee-bee-gee-bees.

Property damage crash, two vehicles, partially blocking, North Nokomis Street.

Suspicious activity, caller reported gas tank door on vehicle was open, gas cap was hanging outside of it.

Property damage crash, state crash, 3rd Avenue East, North Nokomis Street.

Suspicious activity, report of man in vehicle acting strange.

Shoplifting, two juvenile shoplifters in the office, cited for theft.

Animal complaint, bird near the road may be injured or just chilling, caller wasn’t sure.

Property damage crash, vehicle hit the area by pumps, damaging some items.

Traffic hazard, female panhandler running out into traffic, asking for money, causing chaos.

Juvenile trouble, caller stated a young man shot another person’s vehicle with a paintball gun.

Shoplifting, woman shoplifter in office, caller said she is very skittish.

Suspicious person, man laying in parking lot, been there for about four hours.

Animal complaint, anonymous complaint of dog that has been barking for hours and won’t stop.

Shoplifter, two male shoplifters in office, both issued citation for theft.

Driving complaint, caller is blocking another vehicle because driver is intoxicated, driver cited for careless driving, open container, drug paraphernalia.
