Friday, August 24

Animal complaint, cow and calf in the ditch, cow went into corn field, calf stayed in ditch, Garfield.

Water related incident, checked on male swimmer in the middle of the lake, assistance was offered, he was fine and returning to beach, Lake L’Homme Dieu.

Attempted fraud/scam, comp received call from someone claiming to be an attorney and that comp owed money on school loans, Miltona.

Public assist, caller had questions about driver’s permit for son.

Car killed deer, caller came across a deer that was hit and wanted a permit, Villard.

Utility company call, stop arms stuck down and cars driving around them, Carlos.

Assist other agency, fight at The Barn, cited for disorderly conduct by police department.

Suspicious activity, caller stated man came to her door, asking for her neighbor, she told him to leave, believe man mistook her house for her neighbor’s house.

Suspicious activity, caller said kids continue to ring the doorbell everytime the lights are shut off, Carlos.

Saturday, August 25

Alarm, football practice going on, athletic trainer set off alarm, Brandon.

Suspicious vehicle, vehicle parked on a field approach, checked on, owner was checking electric fences for cattle, Carlos.

Personal injury crash, motorcycle crash, missed the curve, driver conscious and alert, Nelson.

Animal complaint, comp needed assistance with large snapping turtle by garage, won’t let him leave, turtle was picked up and brought to the swamp, Garfield.

Burning complaint, caller reported neighbors in campground have been burning green treated wood all day, unsure of lot, but lot of black smoke, fire was checked on, campers were burning campfire wood, not green treated wood.

Water complaint, caller reported pontoon with jet boat and jet ski, was very loud.

Suspicious person, caller reported man dressed in all black with backpack walking on trail, man was checked on earlier in the day, homeless man, not doing anything wrong, Osakis.

Information, report of a large party going on with signs up for parking, Carlos.

Motorist assist/stall, person was waiting for friend to help.

Sunday, August 26

Suspicious vehicle, caller reported vehicle at school, checked on, was waiting on a friend, advised school is private property and was closed, party agreed to leave, Garfield.

Traffic hazard, railroad arms are down, no trains, checked on, working on a fix, Carlos.

Public assist, deputy flagged down, person had questions about checking himself in for outpatient treatment.

Traffic hazard, two pails filled with feed were removed from the road, Carlos.

Car hit deer, deer was still alive.

Assist other agency, two vehicles damaged, one broken into, assisted police department with search for suspect vehicle.


Friday, August 24

Trespassing complaint, person was served a no trespass letter, he is in store, refusing to leave.

Harassment, comp wants to document some workplace harassment.

Theft, report of theft from vehicle, wallet stolen, 50th Avenue.

Found property, ammunition was turned in.

Property damage crash, two vehicles, minor crash, 6th Avenue, Nokomis Street.

Suspicious activity, caller reported man standing by motorcycle with a flag on it doing exercises, caller thought this was odd behavior.

Public assist, badge was found in box of items donated.

Property damage crash, comp ran over a tire, other debris in the road, County Road 82, Victoria Drive.

Property damage crash, two vehicles, minor crash, 22nd Avenue, Fillmore Street.

Shoplifting, female filling bag with clothes.

Drug related activity, found pipe on sidewalk.

Driving complaint, caller witnessed a vehicle with two people in front seat, passenger was holding child.

Suspicious activity, caller reporting young boy walking along road.

Suspicious activity, pizza delivery man reported that someone fraudulently ordered a pizza to be delivered, per company policy, he had to pay for it, but then gave it to an elderly woman who lived in same place.

Trespassing complaint, woman and boy in parking lot, asking people for money.

Driving complaint, caller reported vehicle came into parking lot of apartment complex too fast and almost hit a child.

Fight/assault, fight reported at The Barn, person cited for disorderly conduct.

Driving complaint, vehicle all over the road.

Shoplifting, elderly female, cited for theft.

Animal complaint, barking dogs across from bedroom, outgoing problem, owner will not do anything.

Fight/assault, unwanted guest tried to push comp down the stairs, person left before officers arrived, comp did not give name of subject.

Saturday, August 25

Suspicious activity, bunch of kids hanging out in parking lot again.

Suspicious activity, caller noticed car with its alarm going off in parking lot, unknown cause for alarm, vehicle had dew all over it and no signs of disturbance.

Traffic hazard, big trucks reportedly blocking traffic lanes by farmers market.

Fraud, caller reported someone was writing checks on her account.

Theft, gas was siphoned out of car while parked at firehall.

Driving complaint, pickup truck all over the road.

Trespassing complaint, caller stating neighbor keeps going through his yard, asked him not to, now neighbor drove through, leaving tire tracks.

Shoplifting, male party took ammo and holster.

Shooting complaint, caller reported what sounded like three gunshots, area checked, it was fireworks.

Public assist, caller had questions about hate crimes.

Suspicious person, male party asked to leave for messing with gates and was refusing.

Driving complaint, vehicle parked in the middle of the intersection.

Driving complaint, truck all over the road.

Sunday, August 26

Public assist, man in lobby upset that he was asked to leave store by management and law enforcement and has not received a trespass letter.

Noise complaint, loud music at house close by comps’ house.

Suspicious activity, caller woke up to someone trying to get in the front door, Benjamin Drive.

Parking complaint, pickup blocking access road, vehicle moved without incident, unaware it was public access.

Suspicious activity, caller reported man inside his construction dumpster.

Theft, two vehicles damaged, one broken into, items stolen, Highway 29.

Fraud, phone was hacked.

Burning complaint, caller reported ton of blue smoke coming out of the woods, area checked, people were burning tree branches, causing a lot of smoke, will stop.

Suspicious activity, caller reported motorcycle keeps driving by, very loud one way, very quiet when it goes by again, driver dressed like a biker.

Theft, laptop stolen from vehicle.

Noise complaint, comp reported loud music and party.

Suspicious activity, couple reports of boy walking down roadway.
