Alexandria man injured in rollover

A 30-year-old Alexandria man was injured in a rollover east of Hoffman in Grant County Wednesday night.

Joseph Walter Hermes was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer east on Highway 27 at about 11:15 p.m. when he lost control on the icy road, according to the State Patrol. The Trailblazer went into the ditch and overturned.

Hermes was taken to the Douglas County Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. It's unknown whether he was wearing a seat belt.
