A 36-year-old Alexandria man was found dead in Grant County, the Grant County Sheriff's Office reports.
The man, Alan Chalmers, drowned in Spring Lake in Grant County on Monday, Oct. 23, according to an obituary on the Anderson Funeral Home’s website.
The sheriff's office was contacted by Alexandria police Monday afternoon with a request to help locate the man who had left his Alexandria residence.
The man's truck was found in Elk Lake Township in Grant County and his body was found.
According to a comment on the Echo Press Facebook, Chalmers was the husband of Kimberly Wall.
No foul play is suspected in this case.
A memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 27 at Shalom Lutheran Church in Alexandria. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
