Two-vehicle crash sends multiple victims to hospital

Multiple victims were transported to Douglas County Hospital after a two-vehicle crash on County Road 42 NE on Friday morning.

The crash, which happened in front of the Alexandria Golf Course, occurred at approximately 8:10 a.m.

According to scanner traffic, one vehicle caught fire but it was quickly extinguished by the Alexandria Fire Department. Scanner traffic also stated that some victims were extricated from the vehicle and that all injuries appeared to be minor.

Also responding were the Alexandria Police Department, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the Minnesota State Patrol and North Ambulance.
