Climate change movie to be shown in Alexandria
A movie about climate change, "Years of Living Dangerously," will be shown at the Grand Arbor Theater, 4403 Pioneer Road SE, Alexandria on Monday, Jan. 23 at 4 p.m.
Produced by National Geographic, the movie tells the story of citizen activism in Congress and the advances in transforming the nation's transportation system from petroleum to electricity driven vehicles.
The movie has been called "inspiring" and "hopeful."
Tickets cost $5 and will support School District 206 Community Education. Free popcorn will be offered.
