Local lawmaker warns child care providers about mailing

A private company is mailing forms to sell Minnesota child care providers posters that the federal government provides free, according to State Representative Mary Franson, R-Alexandria.

Franson warned child care providers that although the mailings look like official government forms, they come from a profit-making company.

Government regulations require businesses to post certain information and government provides the necessary posters.
