“Senator Ingebrigtsen has displayed outstanding leadership in advocating for common sense policies that create job growth and spur economic activity,” said Jamie Pfuhl, president of the Minnesota Grocers Association. “He truly is a champion of a free marketplace, not placing undue burdens on local business, and helping our neighbors keep their shopping baskets full.”

Ingebrigtsen was presented the award at Elden’s Fresh Foods in Alexandria with owners Elliot and Dennis Christensen before touring the store to learn about industry’s priorities in the upcoming legislative session.

“Minnesota has a diverse economy and the retail food industry is an important part, providing one out of every 20 jobs in the state,” said Ingebrigtsen. “Our community is blessed with an abundant network of job creators to the industry. I will continue to advocate for industry and all Minnesotans.”
