Randy Fischer, well-known Realtor, dies in China

Randy Fischer, a well-known Realtor in Alexandria for decades, died Monday in Hangzhou, China.

Fischer, 57, was in the real estate business for more than 30 years and headed up several developments in the Alexandria area, including the recent completion of StoneManor, a 63-unit apartment complex in southeast Alexandria, across from the new high school.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, November 30 at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Alexandria. Visitation will take place on Friday, November 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Zion, and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria.

He graduated with honors from Moorhead State University with a degree in mass communications, print journalism.
