Nita Killebrew to speak in Fergus Falls August 12

Nita Killebrew, wife of the late Harmon Killebrew of Twins baseball fame, is coming to Fergus Falls on Monday, August 12 to speak at a luncheon sponsored by Lakeland Hospice Foundation and the Midweek Newspaper. The luncheon will be held at Legacy Hall at M-State from 11:30 - 1 p.m.

Nita will be telling the story of the years before Harmon's death in May 2011 and of Harmon's legacy of volunteer work with hospice by creating awareness of the benefits and hope hospice provides. There will be musical entertainment and a question and answer session of Nita.

Tickets for the luncheon are $25 and can be purchased at Victor Lundeen's , The Market, the Midweek and at Lakeland Hospice, 805 East Channing Ave. Fergus Falls. All proceeds benefit Lakeland Hospice Foundation.
