State to sell off surplus vehicles at auction Saturday

More than 100 state surplus vehicles of all types and sizes - including a Ford 8000 dump truck, 4350 aerial bucket lift van, and 4x4 snowplows - will be sold by the state at public auction Saturday, May 21 in Arden Hills.

Other items that will be sold to the highest bidder include snowmobiles, industrial laundry washer and dryers, riding and walk behind lawn mowers, trailers, over 20 bicycles, and other miscellaneous items. A preliminary list, including photographs of many of the items, is online at .

The auction opens for inspection and registration at 8 a.m., with bidding beginning at about 9:30 a.m. at the Department of Administration Fleet and Surplus Services building, 5420 Old Highway 8 (southeast corner of Interstate 35W and Ramsey County Road I), Arden Hills. All goods are sold as-is, where-is; all sales are final and must be settled in full with cash or personal check the day of the auction.
