Three injured in rollover near Evansville Saturday

Three people suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle rollover near Evansville Saturday.

The crash happened at about 2:40 p.m. on Interstate 94 near milepost 81, west of the Evansville exit.

Rosine Hermodson-Olsen, 49, of Brownton was driving west in a 2003 Ford Taurus when another vehicle drifted into her lane, according to the State Patrol.

Hermodson-Olsen swerved left, but didn't want to cross the median into the eastbound lanes. She overcorrected and ended up rolling the vehicle into the north ditch, the accident report stated.

The driver and two passengers, Teresa Hermodson-Olsen, 20, and Daniel Hermodson-Olsen, 10, also from Brownton, were all taken to the Douglas County Hospital with minor injuries.

All of the occupants were wearing seat belts.
