Ellie Wallace to perform at Evansville Art Center April 9
The Evansville Art Center is proud to present Ellie Wallace in concert on Friday, April 9.
The free-will offering concert is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
Wallace is a 5th grader at Voyager Elementary School in Alexandria. She performs frequently at EAC during its Open Mic Night.
She has appeared on Jingle Bells and is a member of the Calvary Lutheran Praise Group.
Wallace has also performed the National Anthem at various sporting events, including the Alexandria Viking Speedway races, Alexandria Blizzard hockey games and most recently, at a hockey tournament in Wahpeton, North Dakota.
With a big voice that has just a tiny bit of country, Wallace said she "just loves to sing." She also plays the guitar and the harmonica.
The concert will include a wide variety of music, including blue grass, pop, some 50s and 60s fun, country gospel, modern country and more.
It will also feature the 12-string guitar and vocal backup of her grandfather, Tom Sellin.
Sellin is also a regular performer at EAC.
This entertaining duo performs a very unique variety of fun-filled music with lots of energy and harmony. Audience members will more than likely find themselves tapping their toes, clapping their hands and maybe even singing along.
