'Cabin Fever Comedy Tour' features Dave Mordal and more

Broadway Ballroom and Fat Daddy's in Alexandria are proud to present the "Cabin Fever Comedy Tour" featuring Dave Mordal.

Mordal has been seen on NBC's Last Comic Standing, The Tonight Show and on Comedy Central.

The show, which is slated for Saturday, March 6, will also feature two Alexandria natives - Jeff Bergs and Rox Tarrant, and it will introduce a new comedian, Ben San Del, also from Alexandria.

The Cabin Fever Comedy Tour will take place at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance or $17 at the door.

About the comics

•Dave Mordal has done it all - the U.S. Marine, a heavy equipment operator, a botched hometown gas station holdup and now a comedian.

Mordal came out of Elk River to make it to the big time comedy spotlight, much to the enjoyment of cringe-humor fans everywhere.

On NBC's Last Comic Standing 3, he finished in second place overall, and he recently hosted Wreckreation on the Discovery Channel.

Mordal's Midwestern charm and wit captivates and his storytelling ability draws audiences in.

•Jeff Bergs is one of the Midwest's best impressionists and comedians.

His hilarious and honest depictions of situational humor have delighted audiences throughout his career.

Bergs' stand-up routine employs a unique blend of comedic bits accompanied by outstanding voice impressions. From life's everyday happenings to television and advertising in movies, his subject matter, style and stage presence is sure to thrill the audience.

•Rox Tarrant is an Alexandria native and the host, producer and founder of Comedy on the Rox, as well as the Twin Cities Diva of Late Night Comedy.

She is the driving force behind this show and continually engages and entertains audiences across the Midwest.

Tarrant recently won the "Dubh Linn Over With Laughter" comedy contest and is about to make her Las Vegas debut.

•Ben San Del is a 2000 graduate of Jefferson High School in Alexandria and in 2006, he won the Twin Cities "Funniest Person Contest" at Acme Comedy Company in Minneapolis.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota where he majored in journalism, San Del now works for a Twin Cities newspaper.

He recently auditioned for the 2010 Montreal "Just for Laughs" comedy festival.
