LAHS to hold garage sale fundraiser this Saturday

Ready to do some spring cleaning and unsure what to do with all the things you don't use anymore?

The Lakes Area Humane Society can help. The shelter is gearing up for its annual "Happily Ever After" garage sale, which will be held on Saturday, May 30 and is seeking donations of salable items.

To donate, items may be brought to the west side of the Runestone Community Center (located at the Douglas County Fairgrounds) on May 27 and 28 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and May 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Organizers are unable to accept clothes, shoes, large appliances and older exercise equipment.

The sale will be held on Saturday, May 30 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. All proceeds from this fundraising event will go directly to provide care for the animals served by the shelter.
