Tina and Lena to headline Someplace Safe fundraising event

Tina and Lena celebrate their 25th anniversary while helping Someplace Safe in Pope County.

The popular duo will share their fun and humor at a "Ladies of All Ages Tea" set for Saturday, May 2 at Glenwood's Central Square Cultural Center.

The fundraising event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon.

Guests can laugh, enjoy good food and retreat from the world for a few precious minutes, as well as fund services provided by Someplace Safe in Pope County.

According to Diane Kittelson, Someplace Safe advocate for Pope County, "Tea lovers know that teatime can be anytime, anywhere, but tea with Tina and Lena will be something very special."

She added, "It will be a fun, relaxing morning and I encourage ladies of all ages to join us."

Tickets are $15 for ladies and $7 for ladies 12 and younger.

Reservations must be made in advance and tickets can be purchased at Glenwood State Bank, Eagle Bank, Someplace Safe and Milady & Milad in Glenwood.
