UCC hosts night of spaghetti, auction and bake sale
Fancy getting a homemade pie every month? Or a special Italian dinner? These are two items up for auction when the First Congregational UCC hosts its traditional spaghetti and meatball dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Thurs., Nov. 9. Besides dinner, the evening will feature a silent auction of antiques, collectibles and services. Bidding will begin on Monday, Nov. 6 during church hours and go through the night of the spaghetti dinner. There will also be a bake sale of ethnic holiday foods.
UCC is at the corner of Elm Street and Seventh Avenue in Alexandria.
Cost of the dinner is $8 for adults and $4 for those under age ten. Carryouts are available. The east approach offers a ramp that is completely handicapped accessible with an elevator inside.
