Ministry school

House of Prayer Church will hold an informational meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 25, about a ministry school beginning in the fall.

The Emerge Transformation School of Ministry will be offered in Alexandria through interactive live stream from its main campus in Burnsville. The school is a joint effort of Kristi Graner, pastor at Dare to Believe, and Brian Fenimore, founder of Plumbline Ministry. Graner has been trained at the Bethel School of the Prophets in Redding, California.

Its goal is to establish an effective prophetic culture. During the meeting, Graner will share detailed information about the school and answer questions. House of Prayer is at 3020 Rosewood Lane SE in Alexandria.

The school year begins Sept. 17 and goes through June 2019. Classes are Mondays from 6:15 to 9:30 p.m.

Cemetery association meeting and worship

The annual meeting of the Norunga Cemetery Association will take place at 10 a.m. Sunday, June 24, at the church at 30899 120th St. between Farwell and Lowry. A worship service will follow the meeting. Everyone is welcome.

One-day Vacation Bible School

Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Miltona will send kids on a one-day Vacation Bible School to Lutheran Island Camp near Henning on Wednesday, July 11.

They'll go by bus, which will leave the church at 8:30 a.m. and return at 3:45 p.m. The camp is open for children ages 5-12. Mt. Calvary is at 149 Fourth Ave. in Miltona.
