It was one of the warmest evening in memory of the organizers of the Living Nativity at First Lutheran Church in Alexandria, now in its 32nd year. 

The annual event is open until 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, in 800 block of Douglas Street in Alexandria. 

The event portrays different scenes from the Christmas story with live animals and church members bring the scenes to life.
