Senior college spring kick-off set for March

Alexandria Technical and Community College (ATCC) will host a senior college session kick-off on Thursday, March 15 at 3:15 p.m. in Room 743 of the Information Technology Center.

This year's event features Don Shelby discussing the season of learning.

Topics for the regular spring season include the disappearance of Jodi Huisentruit, climate change, making sense of DNA, and clean energy.

The senior college kick-off is free to the public and there is no need to register.

The spring season of senior college begins with the kick-off event and runs through May 3. Sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15 to 5:15 p.m. in Room 743 at the college.

Registration and the $85 fee are required for all scheduled sessions following the free kick-off.

Individuals who are 50 years or older may register for the spring season at the kick-off event.
