Library to host stuffed animal sleepover

In January, the Douglas County Library in Alexandria will host a stuffed animal sleepover. Children who feel comfortable leaving a beloved stuffed animal overnight at the library can drop stuffed animals off on Tuesday, January 15.

On Wednesday, January 16 at 3:30 p.m., children and caregiver come back to the library for a story time and viewing of all the activities the stuffed animals were up to overnight.

Registration is required. Call (320) 762-3013.

January is also the start of the library's new "Super Saturdays!" program. On Saturday, January 19 at 1 p.m., the library and a Lake Carlos State Park naturalist will put on an interactive program about winter habitats and animal tracks.
