Library plans winter break activities

Looking for something entertaining to do over winter break with your kids? The Douglas County Library is offering two different, but equally fun and free, opportunities.

On Tuesday, December 27 from 1 to 2 p.m., kids in kindergarten through grade 5 can come to the library for an open Lego studio program.

All the Legos are provided. Kids can get as creative as they want, building cities, structures, and more.

On Wednesday, December 28 at 2 p.m., the WonderWeavers Storytellers are in town for an exciting program. "Winter Tales" will provide plenty of opportunities for singing, magic and puppets. Come hear a story and get the chance to participate yourself. This program is perfect for the whole family, from preschool on up.

For more information about the WonderWeavers, visit their website at www.wonder

No registration is required for either program. Just come and enjoy all the fun. And don't forget, there are DVDs to rent and books for everyone to read. Stop by the library for all your winter break entertainment needs.
