Faith at Work Lunch features Middle East native
The Unity Foundation invites the public to attend the monthly Faith at Work Lunch on Friday, October 18 from noon to 1 p.m. at Broadway Ballroom, Alexandria. Tickets are $10 per person.
This month’s speaker, Max Tahtamouni, was born into the Muslim faith, raised in the Middle East and immigrated to the U.S. for a new life with his brother’s American widow and daughter.
After years of resisting the call of Christ, he surrendered, just in time to be defrauded by his business partner, slandered, victimized by racial and political prejudice, and falsely accused of crimes he never committed.
The purpose of his personal story is to let people know the reality of what he faced. Through forgiveness, Tahtamouni moved forward in faith, trusting God in every aspect of his life.
He is the author of Live in Faith from Islam to Christ. He and his wife, Carrie, reside in Alexandria. They have five children. Tickets can be purchased at the door. For more information, call (320) 491-6417.
