Cody James to perform at Catalyst

Catalyst Church and Celebrate Recovery in Alexandria will present Nashville recording artist Cody James at two upcoming appearances.

James will perform and lead worship at Catalyst Church at 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 6 at Woodland Elementary School, 1410 South McKay Avenue, Alexandria. He will also perform and share some of his life story at the Celebrate Recovery meeting on Monday, May 7 at Covenant Church, 4005 Dakota Street, Alexandria.

James began playing music in bars when he was 15 and had a successful music career in Nashville, including road tours and songs recorded by Pam Tillis, Mark Chestnut and Loretta Lynn. At the same time, he was in a 24-year battle with addiction, which eventually led to incarceration before God spoke to him.

Now delivered from his addiction, James lives in the Twin Cities with his wife and three daughters. He sings and speaks for Celebrate Recovery groups, jails and prisons, and churches around the nation.

A freewill offering will be received. For information, contact Steve or Sue at (320) 759-1800 or
