The Brush and Palette Club will offer a collage/watercolor workshop with artist and designer Peggy Hall on Wednesday through Friday, July 9-11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Carlos Town Hall.

Hall said she will design and create fun and free paintings, including abstract and realism art.

An award-winning artist who has been painting for 14 years, Hall is primarily self-taught. Her studio is in her home, where she can glean inspiration.

She began in traditional watercolor and is now exploring abstract with mixed media, such as realism, collage, acrylics and watercolor.

With an interior design background, she is also able to assist clients in their home or office to achieve the perfect painting.

Traveling is something she cherishes. She said, “Visiting interesting places in the world lets me see new and common-place items in a transforming way that is often reflected in my pieces.”

To further develop her skills, Hall has attended countless seminars and workshops. She has been influenced by artists such as Karlyn Holman, Karen Knutson, Diane Woit, Doug Lew, Raleigh Kinney, Tony Couch, Robert Burridge, Frank Zeller, Barbara Barett and Margaret Evans.

Cost is $115 for members and $145 for non-members. For more information, call Ruth Nodsle at (320) 808-4124.
