Charlie Roth and the Healers will perform at the Red Willow Arts Coalition free concert on Thursday, August 14 at 7 p.m. on the lawn at the Douglas County Courthouse in Alexandria.

Americana artist Charlie Roth is a professional entertainer and singer/songwriter with five solo CDs to his credit. He has recorded with the likes of Sam Bush, Michael Bland, Bruce McCabe and more.

His latest CD, Broken Ground, has garnered him praise among his contemporaries and air play across the U.S., Canada and Europe.

Roth has also been an interpreter of other writers’ work, putting his own stamp on everything he sings and plays.

As a young man, he was influenced by storytellers of the day. Today, Roth continues to grow as an artist and is influenced by his contemporaries.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. In the event of inclement weather, listen to KXRA 1490 AM for cancellation information.

The Red Willow Arts Coalition is a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide the community with access to more musical experiences.

These activities are funded in part by a grant from the Lake Region Arts Council with McKnight Foundation funding.
