Lakes Area Theatre (LAT) in Alexandria is offering the following productions this week:


LAT will present an episode from the old-time radio series Our Miss Brooks, entitled Madison High Is Cold, on Friday, December 13 at 7 p.m.

The show is directed by Claudia Bursch and stars Keri Mohror, Al Senstad, Joe Korkowski, Sandy Susag, and Karin Senstad. Jamie Sandberg will perform sound effects, with Bob Piotrowski providing music.


The Bishop’s Wife was originally made into a movie in 1947 starring Cary Grant, Loretta Young, and David Niven, who also starred in the radio version. It was remade into a movie in 1996, The Preacher’s Wife, starring Denzel Washington, Whitney Houston and Courtney B. Vance.

LAT’s radio adaptation was directed by Bob Sievers and stars Rexford Sweetwater, Keri Mohror, Quincy Roers, Irene Pratt, Carrie Larson and Scott Giannone, who also performs the sound effects. Bob Piotrowski is on keyboard.
