Library holds non-scary Halloween events for kids

The Douglas County Library will host two free family-friendly Halloween events in October.

At 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, Robert Halbrook will bring "The Awesome Halloween Magic Show" to the library. This non-scary Halloween event with a lot of fun magic tricks is best for kids age 4 and up. All families in Douglas County are invited. This event is sponsored by the Douglas County Library Friends and Foundation.

At 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, the library will host a "Drive-In Trunk or Treat" event. This event is for kids ages 2 and up. Kids will decorate their own box "cars." Kids will also watch a short, non-scary Halloween-inspired movie. Costumes are welcome but not required. To register, call 320-762-3013.
