Honky Tonk Healers to perform at Maritime Gardens

Minnesota Lakes Maritime Museum's concert series will present Honky Tonk Healers at its Maritime Gardens in Alexandria on Friday, August 30 from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

The Honkey Tonk Healers will perform at the Minnesota Lakes Maritime Museum (MLMM) concert series on Friday, August 30 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the museum's Maritime Gardens outdoor stage.

Minnesota-raised Brian Chlian and Sarah Severson always loved country music and the outdoors. Brian sang lead vocals for the local band Foolish Boys and has become well-known for his country western voice.

Sara sang lead vocals in two local bands, Dixie North and Incogneeto. Both singers form a harmonic sound together.

Charlie Roth and Kurt "Lightning" Rodman have been honing their country sound for many years. Two of St. Cloud's most renowned full-time working musicians are now teamed up with the rhythm section of Tommy Vee and Dennis Kennedy to play classic country music of the outlaw variety.

Waylon Jennings, Willy Nelson, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, George Jones and many more are the songs played by this band.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door and are available for purchase at the museum. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Bring a lawn chair.

For more information, call MLMM at (320) 759-1114.
