DalekoArts, the professional ensemble theater company of New Prague, will bring the romantic comedy Almost, Maine to close the 53rd season of Theatre L'Homme Dieu in Alexandria.

Performance dates are Tuesday through Saturday, August 13-17 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, August 18 at 2 p.m. An opening night theme party for tickets holders will be held following the Tuesday show.

On a chilly and clear winter night, business is not quite as usual in the rural and mythical town of Almost, Maine. Almost's residents, guided by the colors of the northern lights, find themselves falling in and out of love in ways they could never have imagined.

Laughter and tears accompany bruised egos, hearts and knees in this comedic production under the wide-open night sky.

"This is an incredible opportunity for DalekoArts to share Almost, Maine with a broader audience throughout the state, and a chance to partner with our great colleagues at Theatre L'Homme Dieu," said DalekoArts co-artistic director, Ben Thietje.

The show features Thietje and Minnesota stage veterans Sean Byrd, Jane Froiland and Lizzie Gernes.

The production is directed by Anne Byrd, Twin Cities director, actor and faculty member in the Normandale Community College Department of Theatre.

Tickets range from $17.50 to $22.50 and are available at the box office at (320) 846-3150 or at
