Zion Lutheran School in Alexandria will present The Saved and Sent concert featuring national award-winning recording artist Josh Wilson on Sunday, July 28 at 7 p.m. at Broadway Ballroom in Alexandria.

Singer, songwriter and musician, Wilson is working on a new project, See You, a collection of songs that focus on the evidence of God at work, with an undercurrent of the tension between faith and sight.

See You, the follow-up to the critically acclaimed release, Life is Not a Snapshot, marks several firsts for Wilson, including working with a single producer over an entire project: Matt Bronleewe (Jars of Clay, Chris Tomlin).

From days of seclusion writing new songs, to fine tuning melodic components, to playing 18 instruments including ukulele, hammered dulcimer and glockenspiel, Wilson aimed to achieve a new level of authenticity and creativity in his life's work.

Wilson's musical style was influenced by pop, folk, rock, classical, hymns and more.

Advance tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students. At the door, tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for students.

Tickets are available at Zion Lutheran School, Karrow Jewelers, Mike's Car Wash, Broadway Ballroom, Mustard Seed and Elden's Fresh Foods, all in Alexandria.
