Salty Dogs will perform at the Red Willow Arts Coalition free concert on Thursday, June 6 at 7 p.m. on the lawn at the Douglas County Courthouse in Alexandria.

This four-member group of area musicians has been playing folk, blues and swing music in the area for several years. They describe their music as eclectic Americana roots music.

The group consists of Tom Mulder on vocals, Erik Schultz on guitar, Anne O'Flynn on accordion and piano, and Bruce Kelly on bass. Mulder and Schultz are longtime Alexandria residents, while Kelly and O'Flynn live in Elbow Lake.

For the past three years, they have played regularly at Carlos Creek Winery in Alexandria.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. In the event of inclement weather, listen to KXRA 1490 AM for cancellation information.

The Red Willow Arts Coalition is a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide the community with access to more musical experiences.
