Glenwood artist's art is on exhibit

"Morning Reflections" depicts fishermen's boats casting morning reflections in the bay of Teacapan, a Mexican fishing village.

Central Square Cultural and Civic Center will present the artwork of local artist Faythe Mills from Glenwood. The ex-hibit, entitled Arts and Ap-ples, will be on display in the second floor art gallery be-ginning Saturday, February 12.

The public is invited to meet Mills and view the ex-hibit on Saturday, February 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, February 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 .m., before and after the performance of The 2nd Helping: The Church Base-ment Ladies sequel at 2 p.m.

Mills works in pastels, wa-tercolor, inkwash, pencil and acrylic. She has illustrated two children's books - The Captain's Hat and The Adven-tures of Molly and Skunky. She is currently working on the illustration for a third book, Missing My Best Friend, which should be in print by summer.
