Letter - Be patient, not disrespectful
To the editor:
To the young man who gave me the finger at the stop sign by Nokomis Market on April 28 around 8:15 p.m.:
You were in a white car behind me on County Road 42 and I had stopped on County Road 42 by the old Wharf. If you had been more observant, you would have seen a deer run out in front of me.
I travel this road daily so I knew when that deer ran across the road, that two more deer would probably follow. I waited a minute before I continued on when I didn't see the other deer, although I know they were close, because the deer that did cross, stopped and turned to look for the other ones and was waiting for them.
So, the next time you see someone stopped - there's a reason for it, so don't be so impatient and so disrespectful.
