Chapter 611A of the Minnesota Statutes is entitled “Crime Victims: Rights, Programs, Agencies.” The first provisions were enacted by the state Legislature in 1983.

The Otto Bremer Foundation awarded $100,000 for two years of funding for Someplace Safe of Douglas County, which offers domestic violence advocacy services.
