Diversity Resource Action Alliance (DRAA), in partnership with Alexandria District 206, will sponsor two presentations, Cyber Safety and Theory of Mind, on Tuesday, October 30. These events are free and open to the public.
Alexandria Community Education and its partners will host former Associated Press reporter and editor Gregg Aamot coming to Alexandria on Monday, September 24. The presentation, in which he will explore immigration in Minnesota, will take place at Grand Arbor, 4403 Pioneer Road Southeast, in the Community Room at 4:30 p.m.
Dr. Todd Olson will be at Ecumen Bethany Community on Monday, May 7 at 2:30 p.m. presenting “Nutrition and the Eye.” Olson will be discussing some of the latest research regarding nutrition and eye health. Much of the focus will be on macular degeneration.
On Sunday, October 23, Leia Williams from “Imagine No Malaria” will share information on what the Alexandria area faith community can do to work with families in Africa to end deaths from malaria.

Prairie Wind Players Community Theatre will present Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka on Thursday through Sunday, August 18-21 at Roosevelt Hall in Barrett. This is a musical adaptation from the original movie, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
