Starting today, April 11, Alexandria residents can find Papa Murphy’s Take’ N’ Bake Pizza in its new larger home at 915 Broadway across from Walgreens.
Papa Murphy’s has been a staple in the Alexandria community for more than 10 years. The company opened its first store in the greater Minneapolis area 14 years ago and today boasts 88 locations in the state of Minnesota.
When my two adult sons were young boys, we had a rule in our house – sugar-coated cereal only on Saturdays. As I tried to instill healthful eating habits into their lives, it was one small way I could protect them from a sugar-laden world of food.
An e-mail about a potential food-borne illness in Alexandria last week spread more quickly than the real thing would have.
