With a trip to the State Class AAA tournament on the line, the Cardinal volleyball team saw their 2-1 margin dissipate against St. Michael-Albertville as they dropped the Section 8AAA championship in a 3-2 nailbiter Friday night at St. Cloud Tech.
Former Frazee and Perham resident Michael Holmer, 17, of Thief River Falls, died Sunday, October 12, 2008, at MeritCare Hospital in Thief River Falls, as the result of a vehicle accident.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at the Lincoln High School Auditorium. There will be a 7 p.m. prayer service, with the Rev. George Davis officiating. Friends may also call for one hour prior to the start of services Saturday at the high school.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Lincoln High School Auditorium in Thief River Falls, with the Rev. William Reck officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Service of Thief River Falls. Family condolences may be posted at the Web site, www.johnsonfuneralservice.com.
Michael W. Kiehl, 21, of Odanah, Wis., passed away Sunday, June 1, 2008 at the Memorial Medical Center in Ashland, Wis.
A traditional memorial service was held Thursday, June 5, at the Bad River Community Center.
The Frost Home for Funerals in Ashland was entrusted with the arrangements.
