They lurk outside your door waiting to attack anything that dares set foot outside. They are vicious monsters whose diet consists of mostly small children, cattle and pets. They’re coyotes, and they’re bloodthirsty killers that will stop at nothing to destroy, maim and eat everything in their path – or at least that’s what many people like to believe.
Bubble wrap is a wonderful invention, but it wasn’t designed to protect people. Nevertheless, that doesn’t stop the media, government and others from continually trying to wrap us all up in it, like packages waiting to be sent safely through life.
Lowell H. Wolff, 83, of Park Rapids, died Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Merit Care Hospital in Fargo.
Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 18, at Faith Baptist Church in Park Rapids, with the Rev. Marty Giese and Pastor Russell Paulson co-officiating.
Honorary casket bearers were George Tapper, Clyde Zirkle, Howard Warmbold and Russ Carter. Active casket bearers were Paul Schrader, Harold Becker, Bruce Henderson, Brian Haataja, Cliff Sawyer and Myron Amundson. Interment was at Riverside Cemetery in Osage.
