Douglas County voters didn’t vote for a lot of change Tuesday.
They wanted to keep a Republican president in office – John McCain – and they favored the incumbent for every federal and state race they voted in.
The 2008 election went exactly the way an election should – with high voter turnout and few problems.
In Douglas County anyway, it was that way, according to Vicki Doehling, Douglas County elections administrator.
Many people find themselves without health insurance when they are between jobs or after they graduate from school.
