Things are going to be confusing for Alexandria voters this fall.
Not only will they be confronted with new candidates in newly drawn legislative districts, they’ll also be voting at a different place.
The start of the 2009-2010 school year in Alexandria will be full of changes – a new elementary school, new students, new teachers and new rules for where students will be attending school.
Nearly two years ago, Alexandria School District 206 began studying its elementary attendance boundaries. After all the studying and gathering of information, a new plan will soon come to fruition.
The process of figuring out attendance boundaries for the six elementary schools in Alexandria School District 206 has been a long one.
Started back in February of 2007, the process is moving forward and may be finalized in January of 2009.
