Alice W. Racer, 73, of Osage, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2008 at the Hennepin County Medical Center Burn Unit in Minneapolis, with her loved ones at her side. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 25, at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids, and continuing one hour prior to the start of services on Saturday at the church. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Snellman, with the Rev. Bill Neumann officiating. The casket bearers will be Jody Yliniemi, Joshua Yliniemi, Robert Ennis, Michael Gibson, Shawn Jensen and Dean Drewes. The honorary casket bearers will be: Harold Lindbom, Edward Ennis, Chester Dormanen, Nicholas Gibson, Samantha Gibson and Tabitha Racer. Interment will be made in the Racer family plot at the Snellman Cemetery. A luncheon will be hosted by the Gethsemane Lutheran Church following the funeral on Saturday. Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids is providing arrangements.July 22, 2008
