Alice Kolnes

Alice F. Kolnes, 69, of Detroit Lakes, died Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the Frazee Care Center in Frazee. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1 at the David-Donehower Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes, with the Rev. Eric Lemonholm officiating. There will be visitation from noon until the time of services at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Detroit Lakes. The David-Donehower Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes is assisting the family with arrangements.

Alice Racer

Alice W. Racer, 73, of Osage, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2008 at the Hennepin County Medical Center Burn Unit in Minneapolis, with her loved ones at her side. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 25, at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids, and continuing one hour prior to the start of services on Saturday at the church. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Snellman, with the Rev. Bill Neumann officiating. The casket bearers will be Jody Yliniemi, Joshua Yliniemi, Robert Ennis, Michael Gibson, Shawn Jensen and Dean Drewes. The honorary casket bearers will be: Harold Lindbom, Edward Ennis, Chester Dormanen, Nicholas Gibson, Samantha Gibson and Tabitha Racer. Interment will be made in the Racer family plot at the Snellman Cemetery. A luncheon will be hosted by the Gethsemane Lutheran Church following the funeral on Saturday. Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids is providing arrangements.

Alice Madson, 85, of Lake Park, died peacefully on Friday, June 27, 2008, with her family at her side, at Innovis Hospital in Fargo. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, June 30, with a 7 p.m. prayer service, at Wright Funeral Home, Lake Park. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, at Lake Park Lutheran Church, Lake Park, with interment following at Lake Park Lutheran Church Cemetery, Lake Park. Alice M. Peterson, 90, of Detroit Lakes, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 21, 2008, at St. Mary’s Nursing Center in Detroit Lakes, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, April 24, at the First Lutheran Church in Detroit Lakes, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Folden Lutheran Church Cemetery in Vining, at 2:15 p.m. The David-Donehower Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes is serving the family.

Alice (Drumm) Rislund, 79, of Glendale, Ariz., passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 26, 2008. Private services were held and the family said goodbye with a celebration of her life; she will be dearly missed by her family and friends; In lieu of flowers, Alice requested a gift to a favorite charity; the family would like to thank everyone who expressed their compassion, prayers and support during this very difficult time.
